Luke 12:
If we really have the fear of God we will not fear man’s threats even unto martyrdom and death but will be bold to confess our faith in Christ before the world. Those that are saved are those that have an abiding right relationship with God that is free of covetousness for the concerns of security and pleasures in this world. They have sacrificed these things to be in tune with God and in tune with what God wants in their service to others to bring them into the kingdom of God.

Hebrews 6:
After receiving Jesus Christ in a true birth experience where one receives the down payment of their inheritance by the indwelling witness of the Holy Spirit their life should continue in growth and it works of righteousness. Those that turn away from Christ and live an unrighteous life without repentance that brings forth fruit in righteousness cannot even repent or be restored back to God because they have rejected the very atoning work of Christ. In the case of King David he fell away but there was repentance in his heart so that he turned back to God rather than to continue in resistance to the point of no repentance. As Christians we are not to be slothful lest we fall into this danger but to be diligent and to persevere with the full assurance of hope to the very end of our earthly pilgrimage.

Luke 16:
People that are covetous idolaters can also be very religious to attend church, spent time in prayer and give tithes. Those that have seen how great God’s mercy is to them show mercy to others by not ignoring the cry of the poor but reaching out to supply their needs. It is this thankfulness for God’s great mercy which comes out of the fear of God that sets one free from an idolatrous life of covetousness. Even if one was raised from the dead to convince the religiously covetous of their hell bound condition they would not be convinced to repent and be converted to the truth.

Philippians 3:
The excellency of knowing Christ makes the loss of all things insignificant as dung. This knowledge comes by a circumcised heart out of the fear of God which breaks our pride and self sufficiency of our own righteousness and recognition of the greatness of God’s mercy and love to us that brings a strong persuasion of trust in God as the sole source of our righteousness and salvation.

Mark 15:
Because of the fallen nature from Adam even the most righteous and innocent will have self-seeking thoughts and desires contrary to the will and express nature of God’s ultimate perfection of love. Those that practice religious rituals or duties in order to keep the commandments of God can justify their religious practice as an excuse to ignore the disobedience in their desires and thoughts that is revealed also in their deeds filled with hypocrisy. This is a choice to not fear God, that is, to not recognize the being of God’s love in absolute purity that requires judgment against all that is contrary or they would realize that they cannot justify the condition of disobedience in their heart. Those that crucified Christ wanted to see if he would come down from the cross. This is because they had the religious practice and intellectual acknowledgment of God as an excuse to justify the fallen condition of their heart in rebellion against God. Because they were not born again by spiritual circumcision through the fear of God their identity and security was in their own religious hierarchy which their heart used to veil them from the Revelation of Christ to them. Thus they sought to crucify Christ because he was a threat to their security and self glory. Likewise when similar religious people, whether they be atheists or some other religion, will persecute us with accusations of where is God in our lives. They do not recognize that God has a timing to reveal himself and when that happens it will be too late for them because God will appear in judgment.

Psalms 29:
Glory: defined
H3519 כָּבוֹד כָּבוֹד kabowd (kaw-bode’) (rarely kabod {kaw-bode’}) n-m.
1. (properly) weight, but only figuratively in a good sense, splendor or copiousness
[from H3513] KJV: glorious(-ly), glory, honour(-able). Root(s): H3513
2246) Dbk% (Dbk% KBD) ac: Heavy co: Liver ab: Honor: Someone or something that is heavy in weight, wealth, abundance, importance or respect. [from: bk – from the stars as abundant]
V) Dbk% (Dbk% K-BD) — Heavy: To be heavy of weight, wealth or importance. [freq. 116] (vf: Paal, Niphal, Hiphil, Hitpael, Pual, Piel) |kjv: honour, glorify, heavy, harden, glorious, sore, great, many, promote| {H3513}
Nf3) Tfdbk% (Tfdbk% KB-DWT) — Heavily: [ms: tdbk] [freq. 1] |kjv: heavily| {H3517}
To give to the Lord the glory due his name means to take your reception of God in utter awe and reverence and return back to God in praise and worship and with the very way you live your life. The voice of the Lord is the expression of God’s being in holiness that is executed in actual acts of His judgments.

Isaiah 10:
It was coming to the point of not trusting in man or the might of nations but in God alone for protection and deliverance that is the reason for the trials. It is the anointing that breaks the yoke which is the strong presence of God’s Spirit on those who have come to so hate sin that they do not trust in those things but only in God.

1st Kings 1:
There is a tendency in even the most spiritual leadership to not relinquish authority and designate this to the next rightful leader when reaching the age of physical incompetence for leadership. Those that are attractive and charismatic and appear to be the best qualified as leaders can seek that position when God has not appointed them to be a leader. Spiritual leadership must not spare their fear of rejection from those seemly attractive and accepting of all. King Solomon was anointed as the rightful King rather than Adonijah because God had already designated him by prophetic utterance through King David. He was anointed king in Gihon which means the place of the gushing forth of water. May we have God’s anointing that conquers fear of rejection because of a strong hate for sin and a strong love for righteousness so that we do not hesitate to obey God and hit the rock that breaks forth with life for God’s people in God anointed leadership. On the other hand, let us not become to impatent with those that are rebellious so that like Moses we hit the rock wrongly out of disobedience or on the other hand fail to strike the rock as God commands.

Psalms 139:
King David is aware of God’s omniscience, omnipresence, omnipotence in relation to him personally. He is aware that God has foreknown and made the plans for his life in detail even before he existed in the world. He is aware that God knows more about his heart, motives and thoughts including every word he speaks as to why and when. May we like King David be in utter awe of who God is to us personally so that we are filled with praise and reverence towards God that creates a hate for everything that is contrary to the perfect being of God’s love in its absolute purity of judgment and mercy.

Ephesians 1:
It is in the Father that we are blessed with all spiritual blessings in heavenly places.
It is the Father that has chosen us before the world was created with the plan to be holy and without blame before him in love.
It is the Father that has pre-marked our path towards adoption as children through Jesus Christ.
We are accepted in Christ through coming to the place of genuine praise from the heart of the glory issuing out of the revealed grace of God in the atoning work of Jesus Christ. This is only possible through genuine repentance to receive His grace.
It is through our heart reciprocation in praise of the glory issuing out of the grace of God that causes us to receive the riches of God’s grace in wisdom and prudence through knowing the mystery of God’s will.
The mystery of God’s will is revealed in this abiding relationship in God through His grace which will bring the gathering of all creation in oneness in Christ which is through his corporate bride.
All things including the greatest contradictions in death, suffering, and war are working through the predestined plan of God towards God’s ultimate purpose of the corporate bride that abides in the bridegroom by the praise of the glory of this grace.
The things that are of prime importance to enter God’s purpose and our ultimate destiny therein is 1st is to have the spirit of wisdom and revelation in knowing Christ.
2nd to have the eyes of our understanding enlightenment to know the hope of God’s calling and the glory of God’s inheritance in the saints.
Thirdly is to know the exceeding greatness of his power towards us who believe that can conquer all destructive elements, powers and beings including death itself.

Revelation 17: “And there are seven kings: five are fallen, and one is, and the other is not yet come; and when he cometh, he must continue a short space.”
Julius Caesar; Augustus; Tiberius; Gaius (Caligula); Claudius; and the sixth emperor was…Nero. Nero reigned from 54AD to June of 68AD, with Galba to follow who reigns but six months. Here we find the terrible persecutors of the Christians (at whose hand Peter and Paul were martyred), whom God used to destroy the Jews. Nero was in power and he gave the command to Vespasian to destroy Jerusalem. This was the sixth king, proving beyond any doubt that Revelation was written before the Roman/Jewish war.
Historically, Nero is the one that persecuted Christians beyond all comparison. St. John’s banishment to Patmos was itself a result of the great persecution of Nero. The apostle Paul was tortured and then beheaded by the evil Emperor Nero at Rome in A.D. 67. The apostle Peter, who was crucified upside down, was another victim of Nero.

Proverbs 3:
We forget the commandments of God when our heart is not in the keeping of them out of a love relationship with God. The essence of the word of God is the very essence of the being of God which is this ultimate perfection of love revealed in truth and mercy. The fear of God is the choice of right focus on the reality of who God is in this ultimate perfection of love.

Hebrews 9:
“How much more shall the blood of Christ, who through the eternal Spirit offered himself without spot to God, purge your conscience from dead works to serve the living God?” (9:14) The death of Christ also speaks of the blood of Christ out poured for redemption from sin. Christ will appear to those that look for Him the second time without having to deal with the issue of sin. There was 2 tabernacles. The first the holy place and the second the holiest of all. Are access to the very presence of God is through the mercy seat which reveals the holiness and mercy of God’s love that when rightly perceived brings intimate communion with God into heaven itself through Jesus Christ.

Galatians 4:
To be under the law means to put the law first above our relationship with God so that our focus is on our performance through the law to please God rather than on the recognition of God through the fear of God that births genuine fellowship and love for God. Those that know God are not in bondage to the self-worshipping principles of this world in focus and trust of our performance to please God but rather have experienced genuine rebirth in a heart circumcised from all self initiation, self trust and self glory. They continue to grow in the knowing God by walking as they first received Christ out of a circumcised heart from the enclosing deception of the law put ahead of God by self performance that cuts off the relationship of loving God. Rather right relationship with God comes first out of which springs the keeping of the law in liberty rather than in performance.

Hosea 12:
Just like Israel was, the people of God’s present state can be that they are filled with their own ways and initiations to find comfort in the wealth and security of this world. God will punish Israel and his people for these things that they have deceived themselves to justify as acceptable before God. God calls his people to remember like Jacob when they prevailed with God and to return and make God the central focus of their lives. God’s people justify their iniquity by the multitude of the religious sacrifice but it is all vanity. Jacob was deceptive but God used the cornering of those consequences to unravel his deception so that he was converted to become Israel. Likewise when God’s people recognize the bondage that they are in they will will return to the LORD in true repentance and cry out for deliverance and indeed God will send them deliverance.

1st Peter 1:
(vs.1)
Elect: G1588 ἐκλεκτός eklektos (ek-lek-tos’) adj.
1. select
2. (by implication) favorite
[from G1586]
KJV: chosen, elect
Root(s): G1586
Foreknowledge: G4268 πρόγνωσις prognosis (prog’-no-sis) n.
1. forethought
[from G4267]
KJV: foreknowledge
Root(s): G4267
The evidence that God has foreknown us to be so favored as to be picked by Him is in the purification of our life by the Holy Spirit that draws us with hunger towards God and with abhorrence towards the emptiness of sin apart from God’s presence. In fact because this is in our lives is why there is this favored foreknowledge in God concerning us. It is this work of the Holy Spirit that also leads us to apply the blood of Jesus Christ in our life through repentance. The gospel is the message of salvation which is the message of deliverance from all corruption which is the principle of the 2nd law of thermodynamics or of what leads to death. It is therefore the message of complete wholeness and fulfillment of life that is ever satisfying and enlarging for our body soul and spirit. Even as God is holy so he calls us to be holy and therein is wholeness and deliverance from all kinds an aspects of death forever.
