2 Samuel 24 and Song of Solomon 1
David became proud of his might and the strength of His army so that he numbered his people that he might trust and glory in their strength and numbers. This was a sin of pride and of not trusting God as his source of defense. Because David was upright he repented and he and his people were delivered. Let us always remember God’s love more than the wine of this world and this requires that we be upright so that we repent of trusting in the pleasures of this life and this world that would in any measure eclipse our love for God.
2Sam 24:10 (KJV)
10And David’s heart smote him after that he had numbered the people. And David said unto the LORD, I have sinned greatly in that I have done: and now, I beseech thee, O LORD, take away the iniquity of thy servant; for I have done very foolishly.

Song 1:4 (KJV)
4Draw me, we will run after thee: the king hath brought me into his chambers: we will be glad and rejoice in thee, we will remember thy love more than wine: the upright love thee.

Ezekiel 6 and Jeremiah 25
After judgment it is repeated over and over that then they shall know that I AM the LORD. Both of these chapters are about judgment upon all the nations of the earth with the intent that through the judgment they must receive because of their rebellion they will come to know the LORD.
Ezek 6:9 (KJV)
9And they that escape of you shall remember me among the nations whither they shall be carried captives, because I am broken with their whorish heart, which hath departed from me, and with their eyes, which go a whoring after their idols: and they shall lothe themselves for the evils which they have committed in all their abominations.
Ezek 6:10 (KJV)
10And they shall know that I am the LORD, and that I have not said in vain that I would do this evil unto them.

Jer 25:10-11 (KJV)
10Moreover I will take from them the voice of mirth, and the voice of gladness, the voice of the bridegroom, and the voice of the bride, the sound of the millstones, and the light of the candle.11And this whole land shall be a desolation, and an astonishment; and these nations shall serve the king of Babylon seventy years.

Jer 25:17 (KJV)
17Then took I the cup at the LORD’S hand, and made all the nations to drink, unto whom the LORD had sent me:
Jer 25:32-33 (KJV)
32Thus saith the LORD of hosts, Behold, evil shall go forth from nation to nation, and a great whirlwind shall be raised up from the coasts of the earth.33And the slain of the LORD shall be at that day from one end of the earth even unto the other end of the earth: they shall not be lamented, neither gathered, nor buried; they shall be dung upon the ground.
Jer 25:36 (KJV)
36A voice of the cry of the shepherds, and an howling of the principal of the flock, shall be heard: for the LORD hath spoiled their pasture.

Ezekiel 16 and Jude 1
These two chapters are about the apostasy of the people of God through pride, idleness, abundance of bread leading to immorality.
Ezek 16:41-42 (KJV)
41And they shall burn thine houses with fire, and execute judgments upon thee in the sight of many women: and I will cause thee to cease from playing the harlot, and thou also shalt give no hire any more.42So will I make my fury toward thee to rest, and my jealousy shall depart from thee, and I will be quiet, and will be no more angry.
Ezek 16:49-50 (KJV)
49Behold, this was the iniquity of thy sister Sodom, pride, fulness of bread, and abundance of idleness was in her and in her daughters, neither did she strengthen the hand of the poor and needy.50And they were haughty, and committed abomination before me: therefore I took them away as I saw good.

Ezek 16:54-56 (KJV)
54That thou mayest bear thine own shame, and mayest be confounded in all that thou hast done, in that thou art a comfort unto them.55When thy sisters, Sodom and her daughters, shall return to their former estate, and Samaria and her daughters shall return to their former estate, then thou and thy daughters shall return to your former estate.56For thy sister Sodom was not mentioned by thy mouth in the day of thy pride,
Ezek 16:60-62 (KJV)
60Nevertheless I will remember my covenant with thee in the days of thy youth, and I will establish unto thee an everlasting covenant.61Then thou shalt remember thy ways, and be ashamed, when thou shalt receive thy sisters, thine elder and thy younger: and I will give them unto thee for daughters, but not by thy covenant.62And I will establish my covenant with thee; and thou shalt know that I am the LORD:
Ezek 16:63 (KJV)
63That thou mayest remember, and be confounded, and never open thy mouth any more because of thy shame, when I am pacified toward thee for all that thou hast done, saith the Lord GOD.

Jude 1:18-21 (KJV)
18How that they told you there should be mockers in the last time, who should walk after their own ungodly lusts.19These be they who separate themselves, sensual, having not the Spirit.20But ye, beloved, building up yourselves on your most holy faith, praying in the Holy Ghost,21Keep yourselves in the love of God, looking for the mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ unto eternal life.

Matthew 5 and Judges 12

Judg 12:3 (KJV)
3And when I saw that ye delivered me not, I put my life in my hands, and passed over against the children of Ammon, and the LORD delivered them into my hand: wherefore then are ye come up unto me this day, to fight against me?
